The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and (ADRA) are presenting a film titled “Tragic Wedding “, produced by the Seyaj Organization, with the support of the
Meddle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), as part of “The My Life project” to combat child marriage in Yemen.
The two international institutions are holding a series of activities to educate the displaced due to the armed conflict in Saada Governorate, northern Yemen.
Seyaj partnered with the US State Department, the European Union, and the United Nations to promote social awareness of the consequences of child marriage and to address the issue, which has grown at alarming rates, particularly among the displaced and poorest.
