PROTECTION

The Monitoring and Protection Center, in affiliation with Seyaj organization, provides legal protection, advocacy, and awareness for victims of domestic or societal violence, as well as the six grave violations.

Seyaj has developed a monitoring and protection system that aims to reduce the impunity of criminals, support victims and their families on the path to justice, support security and judicial institutions, and implement preventive protection for children.

Teams of trained Seyaj employees and volunteers receive reports and complaints from all governorates of the Republic, ascertain their validity, study the needs of the victim, and provide protection and advocacy services.

The main services provided by the center are as follows:

  • Monitoring and documenting the six grave violations in armed conflicts.
  • Providing lawyers and legal advice for child victims with national security and judicial agencies.
  • Advocacy and lobbying.
  • Educating the community about ways of dealing with child victims and how to safely report violations.
