On Saturday evening, July 26, tribal gunmen killed the 11-year-old child, Amjad Samir Abdul Raqib Al-Jami’, in the Najd Al-Jami district, Ibb governorate, in central Yemen.
According to the victim’s relatives, gunmen affiliated with one of the area’s most powerful personalities shot the child and fled.
Seyaj condemns this heinous crime and calls on the governor of the province and the director general of the police to quickly arrest the suspects and bring them to trial. It extends its sincere condolences to the mother and family of the child, who was killed about a year after his father, engineer Samir Al-Jamie.
