Seyaj Organization for Childhood Protection is issuing an urgent distress call to save more than eight million Yemeni children, including about one million newborns, who are facing a severe food and health crisis.

The Monitoring and Protection Center in Seyaj confirms that children are threatened with death and diseases due to a lack of nutrition, safe drinking water, and the almost complete lack of health services.

Seyaj renewed its warning of the worsening humanitarian situation in Yemen in light of the non-arrival of foodstuffs, medicines, and petroleum materials to Yemen in about a month. Currently, food stocks of about 60% of Yemeni families have been completely depleted, and securing sustenance is difficult.
